Re: Arum nigrum photos « Result #1 on Apr 21, 2009, 11:55am »
Hello I am a picture researcher working for Octopus Publishing in London and I am looking for a good image of Arum Nigrum for use in a book entitled The Bulb Bible. Do you have a high-resolution image of this plant by any chance please? (at least 300dpi) preferably horizontal. If so, I would be very pleased to see it, please contact me direct on tricia.bridger@btinternet.com Thank you Tricia Bridger Freelance Picture Researcher

Yup, I am (occasionally) - a bit dead at the mo though innit?
I'll re-start my aroid collection (mainly Arums) in the autumn (been on the "back burner" for a while due to other commitments, a bit like my CP collection also recently), so will post a bit more then, but browse occasionally in the meantime.
Why's it so quiet Fred? Maybe advertise via the IAS (International Aroid Society) ? Also perhaps mention it in some of the aroid-related Yahoo! Groups. I do know that Aroids are becoming quite popular now, so if more people knew about the forum they would probably use it. Thanks for providing it though, I'm sure it will be used more again in future.

Fresh Amorphophallus titanum seed available « Result #10 on Jun 14, 2005, 9:11pm »
First post in a long time, but it's a good one!!!
I will shortly be receiving a batch of fresh Amorphophallus titanum seed recently collected from Sumatra.
A few forum members are already growing it, but this extraordinary specimen is normally only seen in botanical gardens.
If you would like to add this special plant to your collection please email me. There is a limited quantity of seed and it will be supplied on a first come first served basis.
